Jennifer Bennett

Jennifer Leigh Bennett is a native Houstonian. Mrs. Bennett is fluent in Spanish and attended Stephen F. Austin High School in the East end and attended The Bradford School of Business and earned an equivalent of an associates degree in travel and hospitality and basic accounting.

Mrs. Bennett is a State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser as recognized by the Texas Real Estate Appraiser Certification Committee and the Texas Real Estate Commission having provided satisfactory evidence of the qualifications required by Section 22 of the Real Estate License Act (Article 6573a, V.T.C.S.) and of chapter 544 of the Rules of the Texas Real Estate Commission holding certificate number TX-1334797-R.

Mrs. Bennett’s education in real estate include; USPAP in February of 2021; Report Writing, Defensible Appraising, Challenging Assignments for Residential Properties, Appraisal Review of Residential Properties in March of 2021; Texas Appraising for the Supervisor and Trainee in August of 2022; FHA SFR Appraising - Handbook 4000.1, No. 154 in September of 2016; Fannie Mae/ANSI Update, No. 139 in September of 2016; Constructing the Professional Report From A-Z No. 026 in September 2016; Foreclosure and Short Sales in March of 2011; CE Advanced Residential Case Studies in March of 2011; Construction Details From Concept to Completion IDECC #7072 in February of 2019; Mold, A Growing Concern in February of 2019; Environmental Hazards Impact on Value IDECC #4879 in February of 2019.

Mrs. Bennett has been affiliated with mortgage business since 1997 when hired by World Savings and Loan as a loan processor. Mrs. Bennett eventually moved into the appraisal department as a trainee after 3 years and gained her certification. She was a staff appraiser until the June of 2009 and was hired by Rels Valuation by Paul Noyd in 2009 until 2015. In September of 2015 she was hired by Mark Verrett with Accurity/Acorn until September of 2022.

Mrs. Bennett joined the firm of David Brooks Associates as of October 2022. Her primary responsibilities include appraising one to four family dwellings for mortgage and national relocation companies.
